Pre and Postnatal

As a Pre and Postnatal Specialist my aim is to help all Mamas feel great, at each stage of pregnancy and postpartum.

Pregnancy is a miracle and can feel like the biggest gift in the world.  The biggest gift that little baby will have is you as their mum, so working on your health and wellbeing is crucial while you're pregnant and after giving birth.  After all, a happy mama leads to a happy baby.

Prenatal Coaching

Nourishing your body with food and drink and being active are all important throughout pregnancy.  Exercise is safe, as long as you follow the clear guidelines regarding suitable exercise for each trimester and if you do have any complications, that you are cleared by your GP to take part.  

As a prenatal exercise and nutrition coach I will help customise a programme for you for each stage of your pregnancy.  We will work closely together to workout what activities and exercises you enjoy, what food and drink you love and work on ensuring you are getting enough nutrients throughout to support you and your growing baby.

 

Postnatal Coaching

Firstly, you must enjoy every single moment of holding your baby and having them enter your life once they make their magical appearance.  

After your 8 week check up and if you are feeling up to it, we can then start to work on your exercise and I can help you achieve your goal, whether it be an aesthetic goal, to build your strength, to improve flexibility, to improve fitness and more.  For mamas who have had a c-section, we can work together after 12 weeks and again, only once you've had the all clear.

If you want to consult with me prior to 8 weeks, then you are most welcome to and we can start to review your nutrition.  Nutrition is key after giving birth as you will need ample fuel to keep your energy levels up to feed your baby, care for them and be up with them in the night.  Yes, sadly they do not sleep through straight away ;-).
